Note for distance learning students:
Edmonds Community College provides tuition waivers for out-of-state distance learners. If you live outside the state of Washington, and are taking state-supported distance learning classes, the college will waive the non-resident portion of the operating fee. This waiver does not apply to international students or students who are not permanent U.S. residents. Following registration, contact the Enrollment Services office at 425-640-1853 to request the waiver. The actual tuition amount will be determined at that time. Thank you.

Special Fee

Admissions Fee
New students will pay a
$30 admissions fee
(one-time only, non-refundable). Exceptions
are for Adult Basic Education, Adult High School,
GED, ESL, Family Life Cooperatives, Community
Services, Seniors, and International Students.
Associated Student Fees

Athletic Field/Sustainability Fee
$2 per credit for all credits -
Assessment Fee
All students pay $5.40 per credit fee at registration. -
Student Union Building Fee
All students pay .32 cents per credit for support of the new Triton Student Center building. Technology Fee
All students pay $2.40 per credit for student services, including computers for student use and wireless access.
Program Completion Fee
$35 upon completion of a degree or certificate
Self-Support Classes
Classes are listed with the letter “Q” or “R” in their section letters; student is assessed a fee instead of charged tuition; grades and credits are awarded for these classes. Community service self-support classes carry no credit, no grades, and no transcript entry is made.
Transcripts
$7 per official copy, no charge for one unofficial transcript; complete
instructions.
